I've seen people use CHKDSK but i don't want to try that because i know it can damage the drive further. Like i said, i don't know what i'm doing so that is why i'm asking. I need to open File Explorer before plugging in my hard drive and when i do the hard drive name is "Local Disk" when it used to be "(E:) Elements". And when i click on File Explorer it doesn't open.
